Very nice. My family came to Carson City in 1865, five years before the mint produced coins. They might have held one of those. Very cool.

Isn't that true! What a great set. It is really neat seeing "honest" wear on coins that you're used to seeing in mint state. And that really is a matched set -- how long did it take to assemble?

Thanks for the nice comments! Ive been working on this set for 5 years and decided to start puting them in plastic and add them to a registry set this year. I still need 84CC, 79CC, 80CC rev78, 80CC rev79, and 91CC so ive still have some hunting to do.
