Results of Bulk Lot Search

I recently finished going through 20+ pound bulk lot. Nothing too exciting came out of it, a typical lot and not too impressed. I did keep detailed stats of what I found however (I like stats for some odd reason) so I thought I would share. If you get bored easily, please move on. image

I got them fairly cheap (at least looking at the lots on eBay and what they normally go for), under 3 cents per coin as it turns out.

While the total count includes all coins, the rest of the stats do not include 61 coins yet to be identified...most are Middle Eastern or Asian that I just haven't taken the time to identify yet.

So I spent a lot of extra time collecting this data, but my kids and I had fun despite the fact that this was a less than exciting batch. I have another batch that just arrived today (much smaller this time, only about 300-400 coins) that look much more promising that this batch was.

That's odd that the French coins did not make the top 10 in bulk, they would have been the ones I guessed would be the most present.

I had thought France would make up quite a bit more as well, so I was surprised that I had so few. In fact out of the 2000+ coins, I only had 20 from France.

This sounds like one of several bank bags I have bought from a German bank (forgot the name right now).

After saying that, I had a lot of coins from Spain, Portugal, Belgium and Jugoslavia, so maybe it is a different bank sourse.

The best bank bag I have purchased from from a British bank but I can not seem to locate anymore.

Becoming informed but still trying to learn every day!
