Do you re-use bubble mailers ?

I do most of the time. Not to be cheap (well kinda) or earth frienldy, just because they're still good. Most of them anyways. I dont sell that much anyways. You do have to cover old mailing info which is more time consuming. Opinions?

Since GPM envelopes are provided by the PO, I'll use a used
4X8 bubble mailer as a filler and still use cardboard padding.
Why waste a new bubble mailer?
i do happen to love Arby's, too, but i would not use one their wrappers to send out a PSA graded card.....

Ditto.
Plenty of sellers have been NEGd for recycling. Why risk having
a demented buyer after me solely because an extra person touched
the bubble mailer?
I personally have no problem receiving or reusing bubble mailers. I don't deal in high-end cards - I think if I did, I would probably use new ones for only those cards. For trading purposes, or selling lower-end stuff, I think reused ones work just fine.
Arby's?

<< <i>Interesting that this topic would come up. I just finished cleaning up my office, where I originally found 162 used bubble mailers - later I found eight more for a total of 170. I think I may have a few too many. >>
That's why I reuse or else the office would be overloaded...just doing my small part to recycle!!!!! Else they end up in the trash!

I re-use them, instead of "bubble-wrap".
I'll slide items into old mailers, and then right into a new mailer for shipping
Extra protection for my cards.
I like it!

I am good at reusing mailing material, but I know a few will be offended who are receiving the package.
I think recycling those materials is a "moral" issue not something about sloppiness. I actually appreciate getting packages from ebay that are typed up and new--its nice presentation. However, the sellers that reuse packaging materials to protect the contents also make a positive impression on me. When I reuse, its never to the detriment of the item being sent. The item being sent is the most important issue. If I have to buy new packaging material in order to ship an item safely, that is fine by me.
I believe that even when one recycles packaging materials, it can still be done neatly!

Cards over stuffed into a broken two piece hard case taped tightly.
Case put into a zip-lock bag.
Cards in baggie wrapped in paper towels.
Placed in used oatmeal box with two top loaders taped to the outside of the box.
Sent priority.
A couple of the cards had some dings but was probably that way out of the packs.
Seller was very upset at me for questioning his methods and for the fact that I started a thread on the eBay board (Which was all in fun) and he blocked me from bidding on anymore of his auctions.

I have also had many cards come in re-used mailers. Of course if they are all nasty with holes and stuff in them it would be a different story but I have never had one come in that condition.

But if you are going to charge $4 to $6 shipping for a couple card order, then the mailer better be pristine and well packaged.
