is there anyway to find a package...

without any kind of Delivery confirmation? I sent someone (off-E-bay) a card that was traded for. I felt fairly confident with the other member being in the cu registry that it would be ok without DC. I mailed the card around the 15th of this month and he says he has not received the item yet. Anyway to find out what happened to the package?

Not if it was good ole' first class mail. If it had insurance (over $50), delivery confirmation or something else that the post office scans, you could track it.

    Otherwise, no.
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
  • Hopefully it just got misplaced in the xmas rush and will soon be on its way again.

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

Rule of thumb...if a package is important enough to make a post such as this worrying about it, then it should have been sent insured with delivery confirmation.

    Hopefully it will turn up.
  • Let me state that I always put delivery Confirmation on anything. It just so happened that I had the flu that week, I got the package together and sat it on my desk, my wife took it and mailed it before I could take it to the post office. And yes she is sure she mailed it, Already been there with that.

No way to track it at all without delivery confirmation, but the last couple days I've been delivering packages that somehow got "lost" in the christmas rush. The worst was a bag full or priority mail that was mailed mostly 12/18 thru 12/21. We got them this morning. Maybe there's hope!

Also if you sent it parcel post then it's possible it's backed up somewhere. I would give it a few more days, but to answer your question, nope. image

Unfortunately, no, but I've had some packages take up to 3 weeks in the past, though I can't recall the last time I've had a package get lost so I'd bet it'll turn up soon (assuming it hasn't already).
