Guess the Grade-- 1912 Indian quarter eagle **Grade Revealed**
What is your opinion of the grade of this coin?

Here is the unslabbed grade and description of the coin. It is in Stack's ANS sale. The picture looks spectacular and I am shocked by the grade. I guess the coin was netted down significantly. The current bid is $80, and it looks like a coin that is well worth the money at that price. Who knows what it will sell for, though.

1912 Choice Very Fine-30,
from the standpoint of wear. Hairlines from a light cleaning are most visible on the obverse, and are somewhat concealed by a rich shade of coppery-yellow toning.
Acquired by the ANS through a bequest from the late A.J. Fecht.

Definite flatness on the Indian's cheek.
The cotton balls above the headband look a little worn, and the headband is missing some detail.
Lots of nicks in the fields.
