German State (Saxon?) 1/24 thaler, ID help

Still trawling through my collection. I came across this one:
image
Obverse: Coat of arms, some Saxon variant: Saxony in top left quarter, carbuncle in top right, eagle in lower left and lion in lower right. Legend around: something like FURSTL.S:WEIM.CES.L.MUNTZ. Mint/master marks B-A either side of shield.

image
Reverse: Imperial Orb, denomination 24 inside, date 16-89 (or similar) either side.

The attribution I made, based on the obverse inscription and without a 1600's catalogue at the time, was Saxe-Weimar. Now I have a 1600's Krause, I find that neither Saxe-Weimar, nor any other of the minor Saxe states, issued 1/24 thalers. Saxony proper certainly did, a bewildering array of types, most of which are unillustrated in Krause; the descriptions, however, don't seem to match what I've got. I can't even be sure of the date; it looks like 1689 to me, but the third digit looks like its taken a hit and the last could be either 9 or 0.

Any German States experts able to help out here? I'm stuck. image

    Thanks a bunch, Udo. image

Any idea why these aren't listed in Krause? Another error of omission, or are these coins really patterns or tokens of some kind? 55 euros seems a lot more expensive than typical 1/24 thalers!
