What is it?

I found this in a large bulk lot my kids and I have been going through over the Christmas break. Any idea of what it is? It is 20mm and 2mm thick. Sorry for the poor scans. Any info on what this is would be greatly appreciated. It is certainly an interesting looking piece if nothing else.

Thanks

    It's from Thailand.
    Looks like a 1 satang coin (y54?)

Definitely Thailand, but I think it's more like the 10 satang, year 2485 (1942 AD), KM/Y# 59. The date characters are the four just below the hole in the top picture. The bottom picture is upside down; the pointy thing is supposed to be at the top. Made of tin.
