Not that it matters......HRH

But..... every time I see someone speak of "HRH", the words "His Royal Highness" pop into my head.

Anyone else?

No deference or disrespect involved here......and without my researching this I'm sure you all will supply this thread
with umpteen links that verify that this has been touched on many times. In that case, my apologies.

Other than that, I still can't automatically think: 'Home Run Hall', and maybe it is just me.

Edited to include "HRH" in message title.
And I ain't lying this time.

That's funny. Never thought of it that way, but it makes sense.

BTW, you would get MUCH more response to your thread if you edit your title so that it gives a clue as to the subject. I usually don't read threads that have vague titles, but I took a shot on this one. Try something like, "What do the initials HRH stand for?"

That's exactly what I thought it stood for when I first saw it.

Exactly what I thought of. In fact, I never quite got the specifics of the homerunhall name (some story I am sure) but immediately thought of the acronymic correlation the first time I saw it.

Same here, and I thought it odd that people were being so disrespectful of Mr. Hall. Then I found out what it stood for ... image

I always knew what it stood for, but the double entendre works oh-so-fittingly as well.

I believe that he said he got the nickname homerunhall from hitting so many homers while playing slow pitch softball. I sometimes think HRH means His Royal Homerunness. image
