LOST ORDER - Has anyone ever experienced a lost order from the US Mint?


Has anyone ever experienced a lost order from the US Mint?

Or I should say a lost order from Federal Express Overnight?
I called the Mint to check on an order and they say its was
delivered to FedEx. FedEx tracking shows no details about
delivery. The Mint says they consider a "LOST ORDER" one
which is not delivered by FedEX in three days if it was shipped
overnight . . . which it was.

Anyone else have any experiences with the US Mint
regarding "LOST ORDERS."

    Do a search and you will find about a dozen plus threads just in the last 2 weeks.
  • I'm missing a shipment from DHL, though DHL says they never got the pickup for it. The US Mint call center says it went out and I told the guy at the mint what DHL said and what the track order page said. image He said it should be on its way even though the Mint has no record of the order even being shipped

    My order is related to the Uncirculated Platinum coin.

    Is yours?

    I wonder how they are going to resolve this issue?
    Will the mint produce more coins to fill lost orders or
    will they issue a credit to your credit card? Hmmm.....
