LOST ORDER - Has anyone ever experienced a lost order from the US Mint?

Has anyone ever experienced a lost order from the US Mint?
Or I should say a lost order from Federal Express Overnight?
I called the Mint to check on an order and they say its was
delivered to FedEx. FedEx tracking shows no details about
delivery. The Mint says they consider a "LOST ORDER" one
which is not delivered by FedEX in three days if it was shipped
overnight . . . which it was.
Anyone else have any experiences with the US Mint
regarding "LOST ORDERS."

I wonder how they are going to resolve this issue?
Will the mint produce more coins to fill lost orders or
will they issue a credit to your credit card? Hmmm.....
