Does anyone have a Sony Cybershot S500?

I'm looking at this on Ebay. (Right now it's at a pretty good price, and it's 2MP better than the camera I have now.) Does anyone have any experience or opinions about it?
If you haven't noticed, I'm single and miserable and I've got four albums of bitching about it that I would offer as proof.

    Ive got (I think) a P100 and the macro functionality is just passable. borderline ok enough to keep me from buying another camera, but not enough for me to take truly fantastic shots. no macro lens capability with those models and the minimum macro range is pretty far, can't really shoot close...

    If it doesn't have macro, don't buy it.

    Under "macro mode", it says "auto macro" in the auction. I found on another site that the macro distance is 5cm. How does that stack up?

    That's a pretty good shot. I think the white balance needs adjustment, but that's better than I've been able to do with my camera, in terms of focus.

    The reason I want more megapixels is basically to take more detailed shots. If I try to focus in on a portion of a coin (either through the zoom on my camera or blowing it up w/ GIMP) there's not enough detail to see things like RPMs.

    Well, I won the camera on Ebay. At least this one comes with the USB cable and I don't have to buy it separately. Gotta buy a Memory Stick Duo for it, though.

    I checked UPS tracking, and I should be getting the camera tomorrow. image Hopefully the Memory Stick will come from Amazon, too.

    I have a sony 7.2 mega pixels cybershot. Very nice and easy camera to use
