My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

    Depends:
If very "small" dollar amount (everybody has a different number) I refund with a smile.

If not very small then I send an email that says "I am sorry, delivery confirmation shows it was delivered, I am so sorry that someone apparently stole your mail, happy new year, hugs and kisses, etc...." If he negs you then take it on the chin, like a man, and move on.

The mail was probably stolen from his porch or mail box.

If he was on ebay that long, it seems unlikely he was trying to pull a fast one, especially on something with delivery confirmation. Did you tell him your tracking shows it delievered? Maybe if he knows this, he will back off.

I agree with DG - provide the buyer with the Delivery Con number and any other info he needs. In the face of such evidence, only a moron would insist that you refund his money. In the event he is a moron, he could neg you anyway for losing his mail - be polite, be professional, be firm.

...lol....take it on the chin like a man....I like that....

MorrellMan is right - but this has happened to me before. Make sure you contact him with a short, professional email response, provide him with the DC number and let him know the USPS shows it was delivered on XXXX date. Sometimes, buyers who buy a lot of cards forget they received something, misplace it, or something to that effect. The DC report often clears their memory.
