okay then, what will be hot in 2007

as a new guy i'm wondering, what will be hot in 2007? i've read that colonials may cool down and from viewing the PCGS price guides v sales on ebay i think Ike dollars will do okay though i don't see ike's as the hot item in 2007.

The weather will most likely be hot. As far as Coins, I think those nasty , ultra scarce 2006-W Platinum BU's will continue to torment those who don't have them. image

The hottest thing will be the weather at the Summer FUN show in Florida in July. Everyone hopes the A/C doesn't go out during the show!

The 10th anniversary Platinum stes. ESpecially if there is a reverse proof, and ULTRA low mintage.

I will flip them faster than pancakes. LOL

The US mint will begin coining different, awesome designs on a limited Monthly basis, in rare exotic metals,
creating 12x the number of different rarities per year, each with only hundreds minted of each

It will begin to cost millions of dollars to complete yearly sets, but they will be very beautiful, many in perfect 70,
and will still double and triple in the nuclear white hot aftermarket

  • How about HOT SPINGS ARKINSAW....DId I ever tell you about my Cousin, his name is Esaw he has a saw that can outsaw any saw you ever saw...If you saw a saw like Esaws saw you saw more than I ever Saw!

    Now that is HOT!
  • My guess is that the Morgan and Peace $ VAM market will double. Although not a huge market, I see prices going up further for slabed coins.....

I think the new $5 gold with the Pres wives will do well if they limit the mintage. If it's minted to demand, who knows....

I do believe you are asking for too much. They will be bigger $10 coins putting them just out of reach for many collectors. Unless of course the mint decides to put a reasonable price like just over melt.

I will have to go with the possible Platinum reverse proof.

Same as every year...everything I want to buy and nothing I already own.
Just because I'm old doesn't mean I don't love to look at a pretty bust.

The Ford auctions in 2007 will include colonial paper money, Indian Peace medals, and western Americana. They will thus be hot areas, but good luck acquiring anything truly significant in these areas before the sales.
