Almost a disaster on eBay tonight!

I was entering a manual snipe on a Bath city token tonight on eBay and my PC was acting a little balky so I was hurrying to get the bid in...
I meant to enter £31.00 but instead entered £3100 - and I missed it on the review page!!!

Thankfully I won the token for only £53+, which while a good price for the seller is not totally out of range for the token (though it better be Uncirculated or I'm in too deep).

Just a word of warning - be careful out there when manually sniping!

Wow you were lucky farthing! when I manually snipe I always type in $31 instead of the $31.00 by leaving the .00 out you are less likely to make a typo.

Wow, close one farthing. There's an added advantage for auto snipes and I can do without the rush. I hope that it turns out to be a nice unc.

I had a scare also. I bid one 2 of Glen's auctions...max bid 23.50 each......one was ok..the other said 1445 bucks......I have no idea how that happened
