Struck on specially burnished blanks.

Each 2006 American Eagle Platinum Uncirculated Coin within the four-coin set contains 99.95 percent pure platinum and is encapsulated.
The coins are packaged in a protective presentation case and accompanied by a custom-designed American Eagle Platinum Uncirculated Four-Coin Set Certificate of Authenticity.
