Bored. Having fun with some recent card purchases

Didnt work today, plus its rainy out. Me and Tonya were just playing around and took some pics of cards I got on ebay lately. Its funny, the longer you buy stuff on ebay, the better you get at buying quality stuff. All these cards with the exeption of 1 should pull 10's image

  • Matt -

Nice Emmitt's. I agree, the longer I buy raw off of ebay, the better I get at spotting quality examples. Also helps that they are all modern and shiny. image

In regards to your sig line, I must have missed a bet between you and somebody else on the boards. No other explanation to it. image

    you ever consider this?

why does this suddenly feel like a cyberspace interview?

Appr. 300 plus graded Emmitts. Alot of raw as well. Of the 300 about 100 are "waiting" to join the composite.

Way too many more to get. Right now there is 1016 cards listed in the composite. There is a ton more though

I would sell them if I "had" to. I cant think of a reason that I would have to. Maybe if I needed something really expensive like a new brain then I would consider it image

  • Mr. Evil makes a great card display. They sure are nice cards, and I like the sigline also. image

I'm a little bored also, I think I'll go borrow a friends drill and pop a hole in this coin my folks gave me so I can use it as a key chain. image Not to worry, the minute I opened my present the coin became priceless and worthless to me at the same time. And the way I see it, I hope to enjoy this gift for the rest of my life, and I wouldn't be able to do that if it was stuck in a safe. And when I'm gone, I'll leave it with one of my kids and they can enjoy this gift from the grandparents.

The only question is where to pop the hole??? There's a maple leaf top dead centre so I'm thinking between the A and N or betwen the A and D. Suggestions anyone???

  • Nightcrawler, what about between the 2 and the c. It would hang sideways but that could be cool too. Or take it to a jewler and ask them about setting it into a circle shape that has a hanger on top. Did that make sense? That way you wouldn't have to drill into it.

Here is a picture I found online of the idea I was trying to explain:

  • b/w the N and A. Not the A and N but the N and A.
