EBay Cheap listing Days

I heard that EBay usually has a .20 cent listing day after Christmas.

Where do you usually find the cheap listing periods posted on EBay??? I have looked MY EBay > Community > News: Announcements. Is that the correct place?

Thanks!

Some kind of special should be along any minute/day.

Keep watching your messages in MY EBAY.

Listings appear to still be under 10,000,000 today,
so EBAY needs a special to get that number up.

When EBAY succeeds in a listing special, most sellers
lose/fail. Too many listings causes many listings to
    get lost in the volume.

In general, listing specials are better for buyers than
    they are for sellers.

  • I've never seen sales figures for the cheap listing days. But I imagine that it's alot better for ebay than for the sellers. Just supply outstripping demand.

If you had 10 cent hot dog cart day, and instead of 50 hot dog carts outside of Dodger Stadium you suddenly had 300, wouldn't that drag total sales down?

I would agree it's better for buyers.......if you have the time and energy to sort through the barrage of overpriced crap that gets put up on Buy It Now.

10 cent listing days are a nightmare for me when I'm searching for what I want.

    JMO.

    Happy Holidays all.

eBay has a special day tomorrow (the 27th). It is a 15 cent listing day.

    Thanks All!

I just listed 26 auctions and saw the .15c day tomorrow. All mine were for under .99c, so it only cost me .20c per listing.
