The coin looks original and has nice detail.......it probably has some luster hidden beneath the dark toning.

I hope so. I just added 2 more on X-mas I will post pics of them when they come in.
One is an au50 from PCGs they other I think should be XF
The au from PCGS will be my first crackout for my Dansco.
I am trying to keep them all xf- to au for the set.
It should get a lil more costly when it comes to the key coins for the series.
I do get thoughts of dipping to see what kind of luster lies under that crusty surface.
Do you ever get those thoughts?
