Ask for a numismatic gift under $200. No coins, currency or tokens, but something related to the hobby.

I'd like a 77mm -> 72mm filter step-down filter adapter so I can experiment with a polarizing filter on my new lens. ($9.95)

dear santa, please update the price guide and make the 1870 S half dime reflect a value of 4 million dollars, so I can win the game image

I'll give you til the 31st of the month, and split 10 grand with you if you do. Aside from that thought, I've been good all year.

well, i can think of nothing better than a book or two for any collector. a copy of the book on Coin Hoards by Bowers would be a sure winner and come in under the $200 wire.

I'd like all the stuff I need to take much better digital pictures of my coins (copy stands, lighting, et cetera). It's one of those things I keep meaning to invest in, but never get around to.

I don't believe in Santa, but I'm going to order myself some custom holders for some darkside sets. I haven't done that for 20 years, and I miss it.

    Intel Play scope!
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

  • Some Intercept Shield albums, a Capital Plastics mint set holder for 1912 non-gold coins and a 1971 silver dollar, an album for Canadian nickels, QDB's Morgan dollar book (maybe it will convince me to finally collect them), and a pre-order of QDB's new Buff and Jeff nickel book. Maybe a book about Braided Hair large cents and one about Walking Liberty halves while we're at it, but probably pushing $200 at this point already.
