For you coin photographers that like to use ott lites which model do you use? Which model do you recommend as being the best to work with?

What does OTT stand for, If I had to guess it would over the top, how far of am I.

Ott is a person's name I believe.

Personally, I use the portable folding Ott lamp when I do use one, good if you want diffuse light or have a small camera and can't get the light at a really high angle. If I was using an Ott lamp as my primary lighting with an SLR, I'd get a couple swirl bulbs and put them into gooseneck desklamps.

I use 2-13W OTT goose necks. They're small, light , and portable.

I just use the 17 w bulbs. They screw into any normal sized socket

I use the OTL13DWS and 588337R. Both use a 13W bulb.

you don't get the yellow tint from that flourescent bulb?
Where are you buying those OTT bulbs?
