Do you think if there was a major price correction, that happened amongst many of the most popular series this would be a good thing or a bad thing?

    I answered selfishly that I could buy more coins. there are other correct answers too. However, I don't worry about things that are out of my control and this is one of them. -Jerry

    It just depends on where you stand.... I'm sure many collectors would love it if prices dropped considerably, while availability of nice coins was still possible.... like me.

    Harmful if you are still buying because you may be priced out of the market.
    Helpfull if you are liquidating because it puts more $$$ in your pocket.

    When prices go up sharply, a collector on a limited budget can't buy as many coins and may even be priced out of the market. Since he still wants to buy for his collection, he will be harmed. If you are selling your collection, a sharp rise in prices means that you will get more for your coins. The seller will be helped unless he doesn't care about his profit margin.
