Picked these up at the local watering hole today. Not earthshattering gradewise, but I liked the eye appeal.

    I like the reverse color on that 82-S. I think deep purples and blues look great on morgans.... image

    Love the second coin's reverse a lot.

    Always looking for attractive rim toned Morgan and Peace dollars in PCGS or (older) ANA/ANACS holders!

    Amen to that! I can't afford the moon money that some of the higher-end NGC and PCGS toned morgans seem to go for, so I'm content with the $25-50 cheapies that I can pick up locally. Sure, they don't have the technical grade or pedigree that a lot of pieces posted here do, but they're acquirable by the everyman collector...

    Best part is that since I don't know a whole lot about grading morgans, even if I screw up (paying MS63 greysheet for an MS61 for example), it's not like I've blown a fortune. Worst case scenario is that I've maybe paid $35 for a $25 coin, but I still have something aesthetically appealing at the end of the day.

    Nothing wrong with collecting toners on a budget........that's what I always try to do.....but rarely succeed at image

    original and pretty. That shade of purple is tough to find
