My icon coin is an 1819 B-4 quarter, late die state, with the 2 die cracks almost obscuring the date, one of my favorite Bust quarter varieties. Now owned by a sophisticated Bust Quarter collector.

  • What if it is only partially a bust coin? It is an older Bustie!

  • The seated coin icon I use was the only one available when I came here, and since I have few computer skills, I can't change it to a coin I own.

If you have an image of a coin you own that you'd like to use as an icon...... pm me and I'll try and help. You can email me the image, I can reduce the size and send it back to you. You can then follow some steps to upload it on icon upload day. Or, if I'm around that day, I can upload it for you and all you have to do is choose it. If you don't have an image, I guess I can't help.image

My icon is a wonderful seated dime; the 1854-O shattered obverse die variety. The coin is strictly original, grades fully EF45 and was the Greer plate coin. It is now the Fortin plate coin at www.seatedvarieties.com.
