Just thinking....

...how easily dishonest people could take advantage of the 2006-W SAE buyers. Pop out the W, put in a regular SAE and sell on the Bay. "your coin doesn't have a mint mark?? YOU must have swapped the coins! No Refund!

Or am I a cynic?

Be prepared to be bashed for having cynical thoughts, actual forthought of someone taking advantage of you as a seller... My gosh what has come over you man!

LOL, seriously, it could happen, great leadership looking at all posibilities and building a risk assesment of your future operations (Sales).

Their negitives would pile up fast, and they'd be NARU'd, so ask if it would be worth it to steal a couple of quick bucks?

You are right, but only a super scammer would do that for the reason posted...negs would pile up fast.
However, along the same lines, look for titles and wording that makes it appear to be a 2006-W with the "-W" conveniently left off so it is an honest listing...but is "oh so close" that one can make a mistake.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
