That number supports my theory that if was not for Eric alerting the board (thanks Eric )about these they probably would not have sold out as fast as they did. I thought you were about right one with your guess of 25% purchase rate but obviously we may have underestimated the number of people who got in before they were gone.

I agree, the coin vault is helping advertise this series. This board my have 25% of the 1 oz coins but it's not even 1% of the total coin collectors/invertors. This series will be purchased by the "so called" invertor types too IMO.
but do you have an indication as to the percentage of the 660 are set 1 OZers vs single coins?
No, but if you go back through the thread and count the ones posted, I'll do the same with my PMs.
Edited to say that too many of the PMs did not indicate whether the coins were bought individually or as part of a set, so I'm not going to be much help with this.

There was a place called Rarities Mint back in the 80's that struck coins they called Golden Bears that was supposedly struck with 100% California gold, I believe they struck 3 or four coin sets.
(2) 1oz (4) 4pc sets . ** Bought All because of forum fever running thru my blood like a cheap high** Well maybe not so cheap. The Reverse on these Platinum coins are killer classic type . Old time eye appeal . The mint did it right on the 2006-W Unc Plat .

The weak holders are really starting to list on eBay. too many IMO. Guess a lot of people went in over their heads and will have CC payments coming due. If you can afford to hold them, do so.

Yep.....better hope other people actually want them as well...otherwise, speculation could hurt those that hold mid-term..........
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
