    My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

    Rosie went off on Donald Trump for giving Miss USA another chance. It was on that show with all the women talking about this and that - is it called The View?

    I can answer that because my wife is a big supporter of Miss America. She has worked for the organization and it is one of her passions in life. With Miss America, it is more about supporting women, helping girls realize their dreams, teaching young woman the importance of being a good person, a role model, giving of yourself and helping others. They give away a ton of scholarships each year to help girls get into colleges. There is alot to it, more than people realize. But when people hear Miss America, all they think is beauty pagent when they could't be more wrong. It is a great organization which helps thousands of young women each year.

    Miss USA is a beauty pagent, cut and dried. Miss America is a whole lot more.

    As a recovering alcoholic and South Park conservative, I'm pleased to see someone given a second chance.

    The View... Four soul-less liberal harpies who simply won't STFU.
