Who will need the W Platinum Eagles for there set?

anyone putting together a Platinum uncirculated set, will have to include the W Platinum unc. to complete there set. what about Platinum proof collectors. This unc. Platinum has the W mint mark just like the proofs. also the reverse of the proof Platinum is seen on the W unc. platinums to. Will proof collectors feel the unc. Platinum W belongs in there set also? image

  • There is no way to tell what people will need for their set. image
  • I've got most of the 1/2oz plat proofs and the new w-unc 1/2oz as well. I suspect I will collect both from now on...

That's exactly why I purchased the UNC 2006 W Plats. I have both a bullion and proof collection in 1/10 ounce. Too bad I missed out on the 1/10 ounce and now I'll have to buy 1/4 oz coins for this series.
  • Will the mint's 10th anniv. set be in 1oz or 1/2oz?

I'm hoping 1/2 oz so the costs are not too much image

  • The 10th Anniv Plat sets are planned to contain 1/2 oz coins. I completed a mint survey a while ago and posted the options here. Looks like it could be either a 2-coin or a 3-coin set.

  • Will PCGS require the W unc. to complete APE registry Proof sets. With the W mint mark & reverse of the proof. maybe? image
