Having fun with my Kennedy Proof Set.

Just got a newp for my Kennedy Proof Set. It's a 69-S PR69DCAM I picked up from Carl's Coins, Carl Wohlforth.
I'm putting this set together for my grandkids and my 11 year old grandaughter had fun entering the coin in the Registry Set and uploading the pic. I thought I'd post it since it's now over 10% complete. Whoopee!

Congrats on the start of your set, it looks like it will be a nice one when you're finished. I completed my set a few months ago and it was a lot of fun (and relatively inexpensive). I found the majority of them on eBay and the BST board.

Congrats on both the 69 Kennedy and the grand daughter being involved. It is very nice to hear about families doing this stuff together and having fun. I hope the half dollars will be as enjoyable and lasting for the two of you as they have been for me.

I personally like proof coinage even if it is modern stuff.

Frankies/Kennedies to me are cool, whether they be a plain proof or a cam/dcam- it is something that I feel as a collector, is truly a collectable item.

Good start on the collection.

I think it is high time I get my proofies in and register them, maybe after the first of the year...

Yes, we realize they are moderns. I just wished nobody had talked my grandfather out of those darn modern Barbers in his day.

Good Luck doin the set. It is a fun set no doubt. Doing a registry set is even more impressive! I wish i kept my set. Sold it back in 88. It had all the proofs too.
