Wow, some interesting Topps Heritage auctions

There have been some fireworks on ebay recently with some Topps Heritage cards. One seller is currently breaking up a complete set of 2004 Heritage black refractors, and some very strong prices are coming out of that, mainly thanks to one buyer who has won most of them. The same buyer is also putting up quite a fight for other rare cards, like the red parallel autographs ($375 for a 2001 Buehrle). Makes me want to start filling in the holes in my Heritage collection. But it also definitely moves a 2004 Heritage Musial auto to the top of my list. That was the one card I always wanted out of that set and never got, and they are pretty scarce now. And all of a sudden my appetite for 2007 is rekindled.

The heritage red autos have been high ever since they came out. It has filtered down to the no namers too. Thats good news about
the blacks, as I have a nice stash that I need to get rid of. Any money recouped is great. I wish I still had my 01 chromes, those go
for good money too...many over book.

That is crazy. I think Im going to have to list my black refractors, if they are going for that price, that is crazy..actually its funny
with the blacks, the only ones that haven't appreciated are the high end ones!!! LOL. Yogi Blue Ink..books for 100 sells for 105
Gargiolia red auto books for 120, sells for over 220!!!! I think beckett needs to recalculate...I didn't check the auctions, were there
many bids?
