I'm usually not a huge fan of that much color on Morgans either...but it has nice eye appeal...strike is not great, but acceptable for that date...I can't tell from the pic if the marks below the eye are on the coin or the holder...the price seems high to me for a 63, but I am not actively involved in what the value increases are for that type of toning. Pretty coin though
For an 83-O which is commonly found with nice color I would personally pass at that price. Great seller but I had an MS62 with better color and it went for around $200 which was strong money for the coin. As a MS63 I wouldn't pay more than $300-$400 for that coin, but the market might not agree with me?
Sorry, that thing shouldn't be MS, there appears to be a lot of rub on higher areas of the hair/nose and a few other places. Plus the gouge across the face would have worried al capone. Those colors are not acceptable to me either.
That coin is damaged and you gotta be outta your mind paying $850.00 for a "color coin" talk about history repeating itself. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh that $800.00 more than that coin is worth.

<< <i>I like the color, just not worth $840 to me. That scrape across her check into the field is all I would ever see...

Too bad for all the scratches and the big on on the cheek.
