<< <i>I got an email via ebay about an opportunity to sell mag subscriptions. Not my cup of tea or coffee. >>
I don't care to sell them, but they are super cheap and make nice last minute Christmas gifts! My brother in law just got a years worth of Playboy and it cost me $6.99! My sister is gonna love when that shows up.
Did a Google on this to find out more and came across this smartmoney article:
<< <i>The catch with eBay is that instead of the usual wait of six weeks before receiving the first issue, you'll have to cool your heels between two and three months. That's because many of the sellers need to amass a large number of orders before they can forward them to the publication for the heavily discounted rate. And since you can leave feedback for an auction only for 90 days after it ends, make sure you review the seller's track record carefully before making a purchase. Otherwise, you could get stuck with no magazines and no official way to complain. >>
Looking for Los Angeles/California/Anaheim Angels in PSA 8 or better
My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)
I have purchased from magazine wholesaler types before without problem. Have not bought off Ebay yet but they appear to be just regular old mag wholesalers. Not sure why anybody pays retail for magazines! Good luck.
Be sure and watch some have a low rate and charge postage and handeleing charge which is just away to avoid ebay fees. What ph the magazine companies are the ones doing the shipping.
Just an FYI that from this post I had ordered 2 subscriptions (Runner's World 7 Men's Health) from eBay at great prices. It has been about 8 weeks since I mad epayment and I just got an email saying I was going to be issued a refund because both of the magazines were no longer filling non-direct subscriptions (for lack of a better term).
I have since searched eBay for both magazines to see if i could find another subscription from another seller and there are only 1 or 2 up for sale so it looks as though the magazines are putting a halt to these types of subscription sales.
Anyone else have any additional info?

Looking for additions or upgrades to my Graig Nettles master player set on the registry.
Buy all my magazines this way for the most part. Just watch out if they offer free ones. I ended up with a 3 year subscription to Shape but it worked out well for me now. Beautiful bride loves it.

Never had a problem yet.
I will never get a subscription anywhere else
Widest selection on the planet.
Super-Low prices.
Most sellers take PayPal.
Usually takes 6 to 10 weeks to get the first issue.
You mailbox will begin to overflow with other
offers, but not a big deal.

Unlikely you will get the first one b4 the PayPal
deadline runs out. But, the credit card deadline
is very flexible. Not a problem.
The high-volume guys are usually the fastest
because they hit their minimum submission levels
much faster.
If there was any real/lasting risk, I would point it out.
There really is not.
