OT: The Kind of Thing That Would Happen To Me

I will delete it.
I was strangely moved by a story in a thread on EBAY's
Seller Central board. It struck home with me because of
my many USPS excursions and parking lot misdaventures.
The title of the thread is "i am beside myself" and the
author is clubsilencio. ....Seller Central board.
The EBAY seller went to the PO to mail her EBAY items,
and foolishly left her van unlocked. In the back of the
van, she had a big plastic tub full of toiletry items that
she and her kids had wrapped for Christmas delivery to
the homeless folks in her town.
When she emerged from the PO, after standing in line
for a long time, she found that some AH had opened
her van and stolen the full tub of wrapped items. The
thief will get a surprise when he/she finds toothpaste,
deodorant, underwear and such inside the pretty
packages.
Anyway, the lady is a regular poster on the CS board,
and there has been a rather large outpouring of support
for redoing her project in time for Christmas. (clubsilencio
is her posting ID and she is a medium sized seller under
another ID).
As a famous scrooge, even I was moved to PayPal her
five-bucks. Some folks have sent her a buck, because
that was all they could afford.
I thought some of you might like to read her post and
some of the responses. There are some VERY nice
sellers on EBAY's venue.
