Keep in mind I have limited funds and need this for my set, on the other hand is worth it? I saw almost twin looking morgan same grade but in a ngc holder go for under $400.00.
thanks in advance. I do know what greysheet is and my real question is do most of the 1895 o's in this grade look so "bland"? link to ebay

<< <i>Thanks for your opinion, I am also looking at one in a coin shop here, It is a big purchase for me so not going to rush into it, I really wanted a S instead of O but I don't see them to often. Thanks again for responding. AL >>
I generally don't give advice unless it gets asked for as you have done.
Buy the coin if you like it. Don't buy for the grade or the holder.
If you have your heart set on an 1895-S then wait until one shows up.
Collecting should be something that gratifies you. Whether other collectors have more coins or higher grades is really of no importance.
I know in my case that others have deeper pockets than I do and I honestly don't care.
I don't keep my coins in the Registry to show others what I have.
I keep them there so I can look at them and get the fairly complete information that PCGS (and NGC to a lesser degree now that V2 is here) provide me with for each coin. The What If feature is great for planning purchases. I have looked at third party coin management programs and not found one that I felt confortable with. Heritage also offers a "My Collection" feature that can be useful for managing your collection.
Patience is everything in collecting. It's only "Investors" that buy ugly as hell MS67's simply because they perceive the grade number as a sort of stock market valuing tool.
I have a VF20 1893-S that I bought for less than $1000 is the 1980's from a dealer who is no longer among us. I like to pull it our and look at it even if I do possess one that is in a higher grade. It was my first "important" purchase and I truly treasure it. I have been offered much more than what I paid for it but money can not replace nor generate "collector's joy" which is a feeling that any true collector will recognize.
I think most "Investors" feel that way when they look at their bank statement.
Collecting since the 1980's
