Heh, this is the TENTH time you've posted about how you paid $450 for the NNOF Thomas, but I never said anything, because I was hoping you'd just realize on your own how stupid it was for you to blow your own horn by interjecting OVER and OVER again how much you paid for the Thomas even though it had nothing to do with any discussions going on at the time.
The reason I finally mentioned that I paid less for mine was to SHUT YOU UP, to let you know you weren't the only person on earth that was able to buy a card at a lower price and watch it go up in value.
And what do you do? You bring up your refractor sales and how much you supposedly made this year...sigh...will it ever end for you? Will you ever realize nobody gives a damn about how much you pay for things or how much you might resell them for? Have you no idea how obnoxious and how much of a fool it makes you look when you just brag about things out of the blue?
Anyway, shouldn't you be busy trying to ruin the PSA 10 refractor sales of others? I noticed after that beating you took, you never went back to that thread where you told everyone you'd be a conscientious person and thwart the auctions of other refractor sellers.

I agree that jeAlousy is a pathetic emotion, but the only times it has been brought up on these boards is when people get caught boasting too much. For example this situation, RichG, et al.
For some reason the original poster thinks it's jeAlousy but actually it is just people voicing their displeasure of someone else's self persistence.
We all have had wins and losses. Some are here to solely make money while others for the mere love of the hobby. I'm not judging either side, but when someone brags to often and/or belittles(RichG) others collecting habits, I frown upon. You may think that the people calling you out are jeAlous but I think they think of you more as a whore. This is not my opinion of you, just my take on the situation from the others' POV.

I took a chance on one card and purchased a counterfeit copy that looked pretty good in the auction picture, but when I received it and compared it with a real NNOF, it was obviously bad. I returned the card and got a refund. The seller relisted the card and got similiar dollars later on. I don't know if the new buyer was able to tell whether or not it was good.
Definitely beware of the fakes out there. If you're not sure if you have a real one, I'll be more than happy to help you determine if your copy is authentic, but you have to be able to provide a high resolution scan or picture of the card.

Good question. I have never met anyone who has actually pulled one.
I had heard, at one point, that these are "back door" rejects that filtered into the hobby.
Not really sure.
Now that the value of these cards has come down to earth, I think no one would take the time to counterfeit them.
But, I would guess a lot filtered thru the hobby when they were going for 12-1600$.
Cycleback has a nice little piece on the subject of the Thomas NNOF.
I thought someone had mentioned a year ago that "they" knew someone who said they pulled one of the cards from a pack?
I would sure like to know also.

In 1990 when I had a store I bought 2 of the Thomas NNOF from two different people both told me
they had pulled them from rack packs they had bought at Walmart. I also recommend as Bighurt
if you donot know how to spot the counterfeits , only buy graded ones.
