Quincy Carter Arrested....

Then had to rely on the charity of others to bail him out, as he couldn't come up with the $500.... Kind of sad.

    Sad to hear.
One question that confuses me: I'm not a legal expert (and I recall there are several that frequent this board), but the report says that he was arrested for "a class B misdemeanor" possession charge. I thought that misdemeaner charges usually meant a person would be released with only a written promise to appear in court. Why was he in jail and needed a half grand bond to get out?
I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

Possibly Zef--my limited legal expertise comes from watching years of "Cops" on TV. image

On misdemeanors, we have the option of making the subject post bond.

It works essentially this way at our place. If you act like a complete idiot you get locked up. If you behave and don't cause any problems, you get released.

And I believe that if you have a record, they are slow to process you through the system.

So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

You wouldn't have said that if the Browns were a contender! Like in, well, 1986!
