I would hardly call McNabb a "Washed up Has Been" Please, the guy was dominating and putting up great #'s before an injury.

My hats off to Romo though, no doubt he is a great story.

after that dork got kicked off the board, smack is just smack

and by the way, the Eagles will win by 13 on Christmas. It would be 20 if they extend the game 2 minutes.

That all depends on if the offense can get Garcia into the game.

He just may be busy (again) trying to tongue Trotter thru the earhole in his helmet image

So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

  • First of all Romo is a really good player and could be heading toward being a great one. However, the guy will have only played 9 and 3/4 games this year. Of the 7 3/4 games he has played so far he looked lousy in at least two of them. Namely the first Giants game and the Saints game. You could argue that he looked lousy in the second Giants game as well, although they won that game. He had two picks, a fumble Dallas recovered, and a what would have been a pick six that went right through the defender's hands. The point is there are other guys who will have played a whole season of pro bowl caliber ball. Vick for one, all he has done is set the single season record for rushing by a quarterback. He has also had two four touchdown pass games this year (Dallas and Pittsburgh). The bottom line is you should have to play a full year to make the pro bowl. Romo will have barely played more than half.

If Romo played the full season, I'd agree with the pick. But I don't think he started enough games to deserve it. If he plays like this next year, for a full season, he'd be an unquestionably worthy pick. I just don't think someone who sat the bench for that many games to start the season should be picked.
  • I am a Romo fan so I'll be the one to defend this

Giants game he threw 3 ints in the 2nd half of the game- coming off the bench cold- 1 was tipped, 1 was on a screen which was luckily caught but awful i agree, and the other in the endzone was ugly as sin- but he did have a couple nice drives including the TD to S.O- Spit Owens

Saints game was the let down game- matter of time- no one plays well EVERY GAME- including Brady (78 yds against Miami- nice job), Manning-(last Jags game), Palmer (vs. Pats), and even Aaron Brooks (joke)...the games he has played well in - Carolina,ATL,TB come to mind quickly- he has looked fantastic. Besides- who else are you putting ahead of him? GROSS-man??
