Speaking the truth, I do...
btw, it still amazes me how much Eagle fans can't stop talking about the Cowboys
I would try and forget about the Boys and focus more on your own team, who knows it might work and you might actually win something one year . lol im just playin, we all know thats not happening in our lifetime
DP
Cowboy fans that live in NY or Philly are dix for the most part. I personally know about 7 cowboy fans in the Philly area, and each one of them is a cack in one way or the other. About half of them only "came out" a few years ago when Parcells took over. Of course, they were fans since Staubach. Gimme a break.
I've been to Giants stadium where the ratio of Cowboy fans to giants fans was so close they talked about it for hours on sports talk radio the next day
that is most likely due to the high ratio of a-holes that live in the north Jersey/NY area.
Edited to add: Nothing against Lawnmowerman, he's a cool fan...
Ok well that leaves me out because i jumped on the bandwagon in the mid 70's lol
gosteelers, remember those battles in the 70's ? Great games they were

I agree to the principle but its not just Cowboy fans. Its with any team that gets "good" for a period of time, people just crawl out of the woodwork being lifelong fans (all of the sudden). The good thing is, that they disappear and move onto the next flavor of the month.

Yep, great games in the '70s. Especially the results... You got us back a little, though, thanks to Neil O'Donnell...

The Cowboys cannot be America's Team because America doesn't suck!!!
OWENS NOW SAYS SPIT WASN'T INTENTIONAL
In a Monday night interview with Jim "I Once Devoured Pete Rose's Head" Gray, Cowboys receiver Terrell Owens claimed that he didn't intentionally spit on Falcons cornerback DeAngelo Hall.
In the portion of the Westwood One interview that is being played in the current SportsCenter loop, Owens tries to suggest that the spittle was accidental.
We don't buy it. Not for an instant.
Because there's no objective proof of the incident, Owens now realizes (presumably because someone else 'splained it to him) that he can make the whole issue into a pissing match with Hall by simply denying it.
The only problem, of course, is that Owens already has admitted to spitting on Hall. After Saturday night's game, Owens matter-of-factly apologized for the incident on NFLN. More significantly, he didn't attempt in any way to backpedal after Deion Sanders lectured him about the indignity connoted by the spraying of saliva from one person onto another.
Also, a reader tells us that Owens denied during the Monday interview that he ever has been the victim of a spit attack.
Apparently, Owens has again been misquoted. In the book about himself that he wrote.
Wrote T.O., on T.O.: "One afternoon while I was in high school, I was riding home on a school bus after a track event. I made the mistake of falling asleep on the bus. It was just my luck that the biggest and meanest kid in school was on that bus, too. I was physically exhausted and passed out in a deep sleep. I was breathing through my mouth and it was open as I slept. The jerk came over and hocked up a big wad from his throat and nasal passages. He dropped that huge, disgusting gob of spit right into my mouth."
So what might happen with the $35,000 fine? There are reports that Owens plans to appeal it, and he likely thinks that it'll be enough to show up and say he didn't do it. But inconsistent statements from a witness are a litigator's dream; the implication of Owens' contemporaneous admission and his recent denial is that he either was lying then, or he's lying now.
Either way, he's a liar. And a narcissist. And a cancer. And the sooner he's out of the NFL, the better off the NFL will be.
where the hell is kuhlman ??????

I guess my "hate" is a combination of things. Even in high school, the Cowboys fans were always the "annoying" kids who didn't even really follow football. After college I found in the office environment, that the Dallas Cowboys fan was always the "talkative guy" who wasn't well liked. Of course them beating up on my Eagles a number of times didn't help matters any. But the Giants and Redskins have beat up on the Eagles as well, yet I don't feel the same way about them.
Actually Dallas has had some class players over the years such as Roger, Tony Dorsett, Troy and Emmitt and some others. And of course Tom Landry, despite being sort of a "cold" type of coach, always had my admiration and respect as a winner. I even thought Jimmy Johnson was okay.
Perhaps their ownership was a big part of it...the original owners had the reputation of being smug and condescending towards people - the movie North Dallas Forty was a fictional story but was based on that fact. And the current owner Jerry Jones is quite easy to dislike.
I don't really "hate" anybody except for enemies of the United States such as a Hitler or Bin Laden, and perhaps those who commit heinous crimes. I remember the line in the movie Rocky that "some people they hate for no reason" - maybe I hate the Dallas Cowboys for no "good" reason but you know what...as a sports fan it's actually "fun" to hate them and I'm gonna keep on hating them...I don't care why - LOL.
Go Eagles!!!!!

Exactly.
I've just run into one too many horsebutts that happen to be Cowboys fans.
Be an Eagle fan, throw TO and a possible championship into the mix, and you might as well wave a red flag at a bull.
We have a guy in my office that is a cowboy fan. I asked him last season to name the starting center for the boys, and he failed. I asked him to name the QB, he got that right, but he said Emmit was the running back. The Eagles fans, myself included, could not even laugh at him we were so disgusted. Yet he still talks and talks and talks.

You mean Emmitt Smith does not play for the Cowboys anymore?? Darn it!!
There are fools like this for any team. Alot of hate for the Cowboys has to do with them being so good all those years. Winning 5 Lombardis does not help either. Its easy to hate a winner and even easier if your a Giant, Resdskins or Eagles fan.
Lets face it. A ton of Eagles fans hate the Bucs because of how the Bucs have beaten the Eagles the past few years.
I myself find it easy to hate a team that always wins like the Yankees for instance.

JK. A similar Kellen Winslow comment happend in 1991, and it was pretty funny then.
For starters, I do not hate the bucs. I never had an opinion one way or the other. When I think of the bucs, I think of stalin and that idiot axtell and not about how the Eagles cannot beat them for the last few games.
The cowboys "hate" obviously is an NFC East kinda thing but it basically appears to hold true with every other fan too.
