NGC has an Early Release label 2006 W Silver

According to this guy

Getting past the fact that every time the SAME COIN comes out in a DIFFERENT package it get a new 'label' like it's the first of its kind, which I think is WAY STUPID !!

it looks like NGC is doing Early Release. I haven't heard this. Who's got the info ???

EDITED:

Here's the NGC link

Why don't they just indicate the method of shipment the mind used too? That's freakin weird.

(somehow, a coin shipped 29 days after they started shipping is "special" and one shipped 31 days after they started shipping is not)

I don't think you have both in the same coin. First strike was before. Early release is now. No more first strikes at NGC. I have to admit that the Parole board comment above has some merit. I'll go on record saying that I like(d) the old name better. Please don't get in trouble trying to disagree with me. --Jerry

I doubt that PCGS will adopt anything that NGC thinks up. It's probably best just to not muddle up the labels with this kind of stuff anyway, but if they really want to screw with it, just use the mint's order number. image
