    Not meant to be a rant...more just joking, and figuring out how the board funtions work. But yes, I do think Topps cards have been rather similar the last few years.

    Mark, I'm going to have to beg to differ. It's clear to me that Topps distinguished these issues in 2005 when they elected to put the player's name on top and move the team name to the bottom! image
  • With a few exceptions, I can't identify any Topps set from 1988 on just by looking at the card design. While I've purchased and opened boxes from every year, all I do now is look for the chase cards.image

    On the other hand, I can probably identify everything from 1952-1987 by either the front or the back design.
