DA BEARS....SUCK

Couldn't put away a 3 win Bucs team who is playing their 3 string QB?? Let the old men club score on them time and time again. Needed
two field goal chances and a few calls to win it in OT???

Tim Rattay looked like Joey Montana against the "#1" defense. Note to league...no team is dominate. Skins beat the Saints, Carolina
gets murdered, Seattle sucks....its wide open and the Bears can be beat.

There you go league..the Bucs just showed you some weakness, do something about it!

Well, sure. But the NFC stinks. No one seems to want to win it. Even Da Bears, who are 12-2 and probably would be lower if they played decent AFC competition.

Damn refs. The conspiracy against your teams continues.

You're right, though, the Bears are seemingly the least impressive team to secure playoff home-field advantage over the last few years.

  • I forgot, who won?

OH Thats right the bears won.... Rex Grossman looked like a MVP type player tonite vs the AWFUL, OLD, TERRIBLE, BAD Bucs defense...

12-2, home field throughout the playoffs, yeah, the Bears must really suck! image

Bucs, on the other hand, truly suck. Gradowski is terrible. Better off with Tim Rattay, the QB situation is that pathetic in tampa.

I believe NO team in pro football is undefeated !!

    You are soooo right Joe,
I pity poor bears fans who must suffer home field advantage throughout the playoffs, no matter how far they go,
They could not win every single game they played, they even had some close calls along the course of the season.
The QB, while not quite as pathetic as the Tampa guy whomever they try, is quite irratic.
Off-field problems and injuries also plague the poor Bears.

Nevertheless, somehow they lucked out, weak schedule, poor officiating, and many other things you cleverly point out.

Too bad the professional bookmakers from Nevada, who make a living on evaluating sports teams, don't see the light as well.

Will Chicago be bringing their own refs to the playoffs?

Will the Sucs win that elusive 4th game to finish 4-12??

Congrats on the Bears claiming the #1 seed in the NFC. Now go to the Super Bowl so you'll do another Super Bowl Shuffle! image

Joey Stalin you know really was frosted by that Yucs loss, he wanted to jump on here and spout off about his Yucs beating the Bears and all but he came up a dollar short.

That just in from everyone who loves to see Kevin stew in yet another Yucs beat.

I've been telling everyone all season, even in preseason, and even when they were undefeated, that no way are the Bears getting to the Super Bowl. There is the starting quarterback who basically is like a rookie as far as the amount of games he has played, and an inexperienced head coach. That combination does not get to Super Bowls. Perhaps they might sometime in the future, but not this season.

But of course the Bears don't suck. It's the Bucs that fit the standard definition and more of a team that sucks, and looks as though they will suck for years to come.

Don't be so quick to give up on the Bears. The Pacers had a no experience coach (Larry Bird) who took them to Eastern Conference runner-up finishes in 1998 and 1999 and won the Eastern Conference pennant in 2000. I mean, the NFC is a rather weak conference if the Bears locked up the top seed on the third to last week of the regular season. image

Don't forget, that defense was missing 5 starters. After they got up 24-3 they let up, a lot. That is what worries me. The thinking they had the game in the bag.

The Bucs really do suck and showed that the Bears without 5 defensive starters really do need to play for 60 minutes. Oh yeah, another sign of a good team is overcoming a comeback and still get the WIN. They might be in trouble i the playoffs, and even more trouble if they make it to the SB, but they are 12-2.

The Bears put away the Bucs, very early in that game, soooooooooooooooo early the Bears "took a nap", had some dominos pizza delivered to the benches and were pre-occupied listening to their new version of the "Super Bowl Shuffle" on the sidlines, then, oh yeah! Rex Grossman and Company, just needed to show-up in overtime, just to do a 6 play, 46 yard drive, and kick the winning field goal, to "put away" a weak team! Then flew home to Chicago, 12-2, but most of the team was really exausted, from listening to all that "Super Bowl Shuffle" music on their Chicago charter flight home. image

That game was nothing more than "300 yard target practice" for Rex Grossman and the Bears.
