Avoid selling to Ron Mendleski on the PSA boards

I hate to call people out publicly but we spent 3 weeks working out a deal for a large lot of my football cards and I ended around 40 auctions on E-Bay. This idiot said he would express mail me the money order and it never showed up and he won't return my e-mail. The only money I'm out are my e-bay fees on 40 auctions but I would avoid dealing with this person. Save yourself the grief. His e-mail is kaffiechessclub@yahoo.com.

edit: Anyway, this guy is full of it! He admits he can't complete the deal because he has no money (some BS about a deal that feel thru). Instead of sending one a bada$$ email like he did, well "after the fact", and it seems, only because he was exposed. He should have communicated his inability to pay, right away, offering an appology, and he should at least offered to cover the 40 or so ebay fees.

I've had my issues with Ron M. in the past as well...I have all of the saved e-mails and threats from him.

This was back over a year ago, then just a few weeks back he e-mails me asking if I had any extra HOF RCs to sell..I politely told him I don't do business with untrustworthy people and he sends me an e-mail tirade saying I robbed him of cards and this and that.

He used to be military and knew I was military from conversations back in the past so he tried to use threats of calling my commander, etc, etc.

In the end all empty threats because he knew he was in the wrong. He used to be txcollectibles on ebay, but I think that ID got the boot.

Here are a few choice e-mails:

"YOU A THIEF STOLE MY MONEY ON THE MARCUS ALLEN PSA 9, you children must be proud pf thier father for screwing former solider, typical enlisted guy !!
must be proud!!!!"

"I am done with you, I am contact alrington ploice today ,and we gone from there, you lets i might decide ,second is the state of texas, sales tax, irs , us army, psa, beckett, ebay and every one of you past, present and future customers. keep the card and i talk to you in court. dont not e-mail me any futher fellow collector my ass, you a typical solider out to screw others soliders, you proably got chapter out. i see what branch says today."

Definitely beware...

maybe it was gary who backed out of the deal with him. that set off the whole chain of events

i once had a babysitter was going to watch our kids while my wife and i worked. my wife had just given birth to #2 and was on maternity leave. we gave her a $200 deposit and the deal was two months down the road we were going start to use her services. two weeks before it was time for my wife to go back to work the baby sitter reneged on the deal and would not give the check back. we had done nothing wrong and she was being a b*tch. i did have to use the IRS card on her. got the check back the next day.

Greg's a solid guy as most of us already know.

We now know this other guy is a nut job by his email rant and also does not honor his word on an agreement.

Why is it that when a deal starts going sideways, the guy who cannot pay always has to make threats or use profanity? Why not just own up to your obligation or give a valid reason why you cannot complete the transaction? Why lie or make threats to the other party? If you can't pay for the items, just say so and give a reasonable explanation. Most people are understanding and will forgive you. Sometimes emergencies do arise and cards become secondary. But why lie and rant and rage about the other person in the deal. I just don't get it......

Did a search for his email address on ebay:
