Stuart's Experiment: Manual Color Balancing vs. Photoshop Auto Color Balancing

I have added a 3rd method of post photography image balancing with additional images posted below, using Manual Color Balancing + Microsoft Picture Manager Brightness & Contrast Auto Balancing. I have also stated which results appear most accurate for each coin by stating my prefered method in each case.

After getting some suggestions from Mark Goodman (MGoodm3), I took the time to do the following experiment to compare Manual Color-Balanced Images (top photos) with Photoshop Auto Color-Balanced Images (bottom photos).
While the 2 vividly toned coins have more natural and subdued colors, interestingly the lightly brown toned 1883-S is actually more vivid and life-like.
I learned a lot during this little experiment, and find these to be interesting results, for which I'd like to hear forum members' opinions...
