    Actually, the Eagles look pretty good. I admit, I laughed at Jeff Garcia as their QB, but he sure looked better than Eli today.

    They stink, but even at 7-7 they make the playoffs if the season ended today.

    Jerry needs to know facts before he speaks. The Giants still have a very good chance at making the playoffs. And that is a FACT rather then a impulse cry out from the far reaches of the mind image

    WITH THAT SAID ....... congrats Eagle fans. Jeff Garcia is a QB with the hot hand. And we all know that goes a long way as far as a teams success goes ..... image

    8-8 may get you to the playoffs in the NFC this season.

    Giants D did play poorly, but Eli was awful late, and sealed the Philly win with that pick. No TDs and 2 INT just won't get it done.

    Maybe I wasn't clear - the Giants may make the playoffs, but are they really a playoff team? That was my point. If they keep playing like they have for the last month and a half, it's one and out for them.

    And, it's not just Eli's fault.

    Well, I actually agree with you Jerry(First time for everything I guess). The team has the personnel, but they still lack in the secondary and at reciever. Eli is such an up and down player, it seems if he comes out firing and getting it done then the Giants tear up the oppossing teams. If he comes out flat for just a series or two, call it a day Big Blue fans. They need a change, I know that Coughlin won't be let go since his ties to the team and how the management lets the coaching regimes play themselves out. But, they need to get rid of Coughlin. Not to appease the players but the Giants haven't had the "right" gameplan for quite a while. The Giants WILL be back, they just need to have a shakedown and reassess how they gameplan. Big Blues needs this offseason, depth at O-line, recieving help(although I do believe that Tyree hasn't gotten a fair shake and Tim Carter just don't do it; Moss is going to come into his own a be a productive starter eventually), and I think they need to go out and try for Lance Briggs. A linebacker corp of Briggs, Arrington, and Short(and eventually Wilkerson) would be a very solid trio and one of the best in the league.
