Home Metal Detecting

I am 12 cents richer!!!

Well the snow melted, my wife left with the kids and it was just me and the dog and a detector that I bought when we had 8" inches of snow. My first two hits proved to be pop tops. Since I was at a popular summer picnic area that was no surprize. After about ten minutes I found my first memorial cent. This was followed by a clad dime that I first mistook for a penny (man they turn colors!!). Then I stumbled upon another memorial cent. All in all, around an hour of "walking the dog" but more importantly a new found addiction!!!!image

Clad quarters come up brown, too.

And Sac dollars. Thought my first Sac was a quarter at first.

Good work. You know you can find coins, now... so get out and find some OLD coins when you can! image
