If you had $500.00 dollars to spend at....

BBCE what would you get? I was thinking of some unopened material or to maybe fill in some of the gaps of missing sets. What do would you get?

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

Boxes and boxes of early to mid 90's stuff for my Emmitt and Aikman sets. On average, $7.00 to $20.00 per box, you cant beat it image

If I worked for the $500.. nothing.

If a $500 gift at bbce fell into my lap I would get 2 packs of 1986-87 Fleer Basketball. I've always been drawn to this set and all the rookie cards of the players which I enjoyed watching when I liked basketball.

SOrry, Can't help you. If I had $500 to spend I'd find a nice mid grade T206 Water Johnson Portrait.
I can assure you the top side of this card will outway anthing that you can rip form the past.
But then again, I'm addicted to vintage so what can you expect from me. Good luck, Joe

  • I'd definately rip a 1984 Donruss box. Always wanted to bust a pack but they ran upwards of $20 in the day. Now you can get a full box for $160. That still leaves a $340 bundle and I don't know where I'd go with that.

What would I get for $500?

    $375 : 1986 Topps football wax box
    $100 : 1982 Topps football wax box

    Then some cheap stuff...
    1985 Donruss Highlight set - $5
    1989 Donruss Rookies set - $8

    That'd leave $12 for shipping.

Rick, Its your money buy what you like best. In my personal opinion I think the 83-84 Topps is a good value. 84 donruss and 85 topps if you are looking to pull some money cards. You may want to check out a 84 - 3box rack case, I think they are still $150 bucks, and it will give you hours of enjoyment,Maybe days.
