So I'm looking through the January SMR that was graciously given to me and spot a Cal Ripken, Jr. game worn uniform in an ad for the American Memorabilia auction. Since the ad says that the auction closes on December 19th, I figured I had some time. I went ahead and called for some information and an auction update. They asked if I wanted to place a bid and I said that since the auction closes on the 19th, I'll wait until next week. I had some time tonight and was going to go ahead and register. I search the auctions for the jersey and see the following:

What's cool is that every other item posted on the page (can't find the Babe Ruth bat) with the "Auction Closes December 19th" box has already closed according to the site.

Maybe I'm just missing something here.

Made a call to the auction house for clarification on the issue. They said that the auction did in fact end on the 14th. When I asked about the article, they said that the SMR Magazine obviously messed up the ad.
