FSH: buy my new avatar coin! (Toned 1920 Pilgrim half)

This toned AU Pilgrim half is pedigreed to Don Soles ("InYHWHWeTrust"), and Russ before that. I'm told these pics were taken by Russ, originally.

In honor of my ancestor, William Bradford, who is pictured on the obverse, and of my new interest in commemoratives, and because I just happened to be logged on during Icon Upload Day for the first time in ages, I decided to upload a new avatar, just for fun. However, I will only wear it temporarily, because the old "Holey Hat Icon" is pretty much my default avatar.

Edit: I was going to take offers on this coin for 24 hours but since the first PM I got was one of its original owners who wants it back, I am going to end my "auction" and place it on hold for him.

The new owner will also get the use of the avatar (which is "LMPilgrimIcon" in the database), if he/she wishes to use it. I will return to my old Holey Hat avatar, though I might borrow this one back and wear it around Thanksgiving time in the future.

Nice piece of history LM. Didn't know you were related to the Bradford family.

I bought his book Of Plymouth Plantation and have read parts of it before our Thanksgiving meals.

Funny, I've never read it. Guess I'll have to. I am also a descendant of the two Adams presidents but have not made it all the way through John Adams' four-volume autobiography and journal, or the more recent biography of him, though I have read selections of them.

I had been thinking about that coin ever since Russ auctioned it off for me. It has fantastic eye appeal in person.

In fact he imaged it for me long before the auction. I purchased that coin off the bid board at ARC in Chino when I started collecting 14 months ago.

I was going to attempt to track it down then this thread popped up.
