1955 Redman Tobacco Submission

Recently purchased a '55 Hoyt Wilhelm in SGC 86 (7.5) condition that looks much better than any other PSA 7 that I have seen. I want to crack the case and submit to PSA, but just want to make sure I don't screw this one up. Should I submit to PSA and try for an upgrade to a PSA 8 or should I crack the case and submit? Also, with most submissions, I penny sleeve the cards then put them into Card Saver I holders. This card will have to go 'bare' into a Card Saver IV. Is this the correct way to do this? Any suggestions will help!!

    I can't give advice on how to crack, but I know it's been discussed before. I would get advice from some of the crackers before tearing into it.
    As far as submitting cards commando, I always do with my oversized cards.
