Office Holiday Party

We just got back from our office holiday luncheon and man I ate too much! No great stories... though the old guys talked about drinking beers in the office on Friday afternoons back in the '80's. Funny, because now this place is VERY conservative. Nobody drank a drop of alchohol today and you really need to drink to create wild stories at office parties! Anybody have any good office party tales to share?

We had a county bail agency - not bail bondsmen or bounters, but the actual office that recommends the bail to the judge based on the crime and the history of the accused - that had some legendary parties. I attended for about six consecutive years from the late '90s on. The office only had less than ten people, but the place would be packed from everyone that they invited. I witnessed cases of booze being wheeled in on a dolly. Every year there was nakedness atop desks and way too public displays of significant amounts of affection. They best part was the stories of their Christmas parties in the '70s and '80s when the common pleas judges would attend. Two of those judges have since had to take early retirement due to alcohol-related legal problems.

It is strange that any onther time I went to that office, everyone seemed pretty subdued. I guess they kept it all bottled up up until December.

Went to my wife's last Saturday night. Lamest party I've ever attended, unless you consider playing Win Lose or Draw exciting.
