Lost Cards?

At what point do you start being concerned that your cards might be lost? I sent them registered mail on the morning of 11/30, and PSA has not read them into the system. I know I have to wait 30 days to file a claim with the P.O.; how long should I wait before contacting PSA?

I'd call customer service now, when that has happened to me they were on the problem shelf and would've sat there for a long time. Turns out they couldn't read one of the numbers on my CC.

  • Call customer service asap. If they have been read into their system, this is not a PO problem. I had several cards lost 3 years ago and got reimbursed. It does happen.
  • I've had them hung up in Chicago before. If it shows shipped, call PSA and get the register number, then call the PO and see where it is at. I even had to call the supervisor, to get it moving. It sat in Chicago for over 2 weeks.

Sorry to hear about your delay. I mailed a package to psa on Dec. 1st (Friday) and as of today it's still not logged in or received by them either. It can take a full two weeks before they log them and the grading clock starts ticking......

I would give it until Monday and then call cust. service. I'm sure the Holidays are affecting the delivery times. Also the grading backlog
due to the offered specials have to be delaying matters as well.

Me to, but delivery confirmations said my package was delivered on the 9th!
  • I also mailed a package on 11/30 and it has not been updated on the system.

  • I sent mine Nov. 24 and they just got entered 2 days ago.

  • I sent mine registered mail from Illinois on 11/30. They weren't delivered by the USPS until 12/7 and they haven't been logged in yet. The last time I sent cards in on the last day of a month (June, 2006) in took over two weeks to get logged in.
  • You guys also have to realize that this is a December month, many of the staff might be taking a vacation, they might be short handed. More people are asking for time off just to be with their families out of the state. I hate to see their shipping department with boxes and boxes of cards waiting to be slabbed sitting in mail bins until workers return from vacation. The remaining few workers who are there probley don't want to tackle BIG orders and mainly grade the small orders until a full staff returns. December month is always slow, especially for shipping package and recieving them as well.

  • You must have missed th ethread over on the community board. Nobody has been logged that were mailed the 30th and it appears even ones form the 28th! It was the "last day"
  • My weekend before Thanksgiving shipment logged 12/7.
My priority mail form AZ logged 12/12.
    Wouldn't panic yet.

  • Hi- I called customer service yesterday because my sub sent on 11/30 wasn't logged in yet and for the first time ever I didn't do the delivery confirmation and I didn't have the submission # written down either and I didn't make a copy of the invoice!! Both bonehead mistakes on my part !!!!!!!! I've probably sent in 30 subs over the past 4 years so I was getting a little too trusting!! The lady told me that they are still logging in subs they received on 12/1 and with mine being sent from MN on 11/30 it probably didn't get to California until 12/4 or 12/5... She said they are really loaded with subs with this special and things are really moving slow! Hope this helps !

  • did you remember to label the outside of the box with the submission level?
  • It is most certainly the holidays. USPS is moving like "pond water", but I know they are doing the best they can.

My shipment has been logged, 12/14.

  • It is true that we are behind in entering but if you have a tracking number (insurance, registered, etc.) you can call customer service with that number to confirm it's in our vault waiting to be logged in. All packages, prior to being sorted by service level and being opened are scanned in to our building.
