Proof NEWP from the bay...

Saw this one and just had to do an impulse BIN. It's a scarcer date amongst the proofs of this type: this is the only 1923 G slabbed by either PCGS or NGC.

I had no qualms at all paying full Krause "common date" proof pricing for it... I'm actually suprised it sat there for 3 days and no one bought it. Maybe the joke's on me and I overpaid, but I'm thrilled with it.

Slab is fairly scuffed up; those diagonal marks on the obverse are on the slab, not the coin. Nice die breaks too!

Very nice. In the 1923 German economy 200 Marks was probably a darn good chunk of change image

If you have any regrets now, about selling me that 1968-F mark, I'll consider selling it back to you at a friendly +50%. image

Very nice coin and modernistic design! image

  • I'm not sure how this one escaped from getting in front of my cross hairs! I search by very few "keywords" and wade through bunches of junk looking for coins like that. Maybe you would like to make a quick profit on it? If so shoot me an email and let's see if we can work out a deal...

Congrats on a really nice find by the way...
